Admissions | Non-Degree Seeking Students

Non-Degree Seeking Students: Students who enroll for personal and/or professional development rather than to pursue a diploma or degree may apply for admission to the university as non-degree seeking students. Admission status is determined by the information reported by the applicant. A high school transcript or GED certificate is required. There is no limit to the number of credit hours a non-degree student may accumulate.

However, should the student decide to convert his or her enrollment status from non-degree seeking to degree-seeking there is no guarantee that the courses taken while in a non-degree seeking status will be applicable to a particular Sullivan University degree program. The person who converts to a degree-seeking status must meet all regular admissions requirements for the appropriate degree-seeking program. A student whose status is non-degree seeking is responsible for notifying the registrar's office if he or she chooses to become a degree-seeking student.
