Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the general manager, the Pharmacy Manager coordinates the provision and measuring/monitoring activities involved in medication use in daily pharmacy operations. Monitoring and reporting, and medications use activities included in JCAHO and regulatory agency standards.

Experience: Three to five years’ supervisory experience in a pharmacy production environment, or hospital environment. Day shift only: No weekends or holidays!!

Education Required: Must meet State Board of Pharmacy Licensing requirements; minimum 3 years’ IV experience and/or Certification 797 Experience.

Certifications / Licensure: Must be licensed in designated states to meet regulatory requirements

Special Skills: Responsible for self-continuing education by attending conferences, meetings and seminars. Knowledge of the legal aspects of dispensing drugs. Strong professional, organizational, computer, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong perception of pharmacy clinical services, distributive services, and knowledge of pharmacy computer systems (mainframe and micro systems). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven problem-solving and organization skills. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

Position Summary:
Assist Pharmacists with the technical aspects of procuring and dispensing of drug products.
We require a background check and a drug test.
Starting pay: $8.75 per hour, potential bonus.
