Biography

Dr. Le obtained her 5-year Bachelor of Pharmacy and her Master degree in Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmaceutics, both from Hochiminh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam. Dr. Le got her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, major in Pharmaceutics and minor in Statistics, from Oregon State University, Oregon.

Dr. Le's research focuses on drug delivery and drug target using nanotechnology. She is interested in formulating combined natural products and conventional chemotherapy agents. She desires to target the combined formulations to increase efficacy and decrease toxicity for cancer therapy. In addition, Dr. Le has utilized liposome technology to improve topical/transdermal delivery of drugs for pain management. Furthermore, she is expanding her research in stability of compounded preparations (cream, gel, ointment, and lotion) to confirm their beyond-use-date as well as to improve drug delivery.
