Biography

Dr. Coronel received a B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines 1978; M.D. from Cebu Doctors' University College of Medicine, Philippines 1982 and Internal Medicine Residency at Polymedic General Hospital, Philippines 1989.She attended a two-year program on Master of Science in Internal Medicine, Major in Diabetology at the University of the East: Institute For Studies On Diabetes Foundation, Inc. Philippines 1989-1991. She obtained her E.M.B.A. degree from Sullivan University; Louisville KY in 2010.

As a faculty of SUS, Dr. Coronel started at Spencerian College and later joined the COP. Dr. Coronel is currently the Assistant Dean and Pharmaceutical Sciences Department Chair at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy. She has educational research publications, book chapter publication and poster presentations. Her research interest is: (1) Innovations in the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus (2) Educational and Translational Medicine Research.
