Louisville Climate

Louisville enjoys a temperate climate with four distinct seasons, so there's really no bad time to visit. Spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) may be the best choices, because they avoid the heat and humidity of summer and the occasional cold snaps and snow that can occur in winter. April temperatures range from the mid 40s to mid 60s F/6-17 C, and May runs 52-78 F/11-25 C. Late spring can see a lot of rain. Fall tends to be sunnier and warmer. The average summer temperature is 88 degrees, whereas the average winter temperature is 37 degrees. Louisville usually enjoys 43 inches of annual precipitation.
